| I entered the software arena as a 20 year old graduate student at Clemson University in 1975. It's been a pretty wild ride and a lot of fun. Career achievements: I am currently Fellow at the Halo Fund in Silicon Valley where I serve as Entrepreneur-in-Residence. I also work with The Angels Forum. I am currently investigating new ideas and opportunities. From 2005 - 2010, I was CEO / Executive Director of San Jose Jazz. It's not exactly in tech, but still in Silicon Valley. San Jose Jazz is the producer of the San Jose Jazz Festival, one of the largest music festivals on the west coast, and many other performances and educational programs. I was also a member of the angel investing group, the Keiretsu Forum. I also assist other startups and organizations. My doctoral dissertation is on angel investing. A version of this work was published in the April 2010 issue of Venture Capital An International Journal of Entrepreneurial Finance. Other experience: CEO of Innersell -
a web-based exchange for sales leads funded by Draper, Fisher, Jurvetson. Education: Doctor of Business Administration, University of Phoenix Associations: Executive Member, Academy of Management |
